- Disciplinary Action will be implemented in the
very near future. Mis-statements and Falsification of Records are
main issues to be pursued. Falsification of records is a
misdemeanor. Follow up inspections will be performed by the Bureau.
- Welding visual inspection. Hub presented drawings
of what a profile should look like and the process for proper
welding. Reference ANSI/AWS D 1.1 per ASME A17.1 rule 213. Companies
are responsible to have "certified" welders perform field work.
Certification using community college system is the most economical
means.
- Code requires a gauge (or quick connect) at
control valves. Gauges must have a valve to remove pressure except
during a test; nipple must be sch. 80 and cannot be more than 3"
long.
- Reiterated that the current code in Florida is
A17.1 1996 with 97’/98’ Addendum. The A18.1 wheelchair code is not
yet in effect.
- Machineroomless elevators
